Clwyd Guild of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers

    Why, When and Where

    About the Guild

The Clwyd Guild is a community of makers dedicated to the heritage and future of fiber arts.

    Why we meet

The Guild's Aim is to keep the traditional Crafts of Handweaving, Spinning and Dyeing alive and developing in the modern world. We meet to share ideas, learn new techniques, and ensure these skills are passed on to the next generation.

    Where we meet

We now meet in the New Community Hub Building at Llysfasi College.

    Llysfasi College
    Ruthin Road, Llysfasi
    Ruthin, LL15 2LB

    When we meet

Our meetings are held on the third Saturday of every month.

Doors usually open at 9:30AM for a 10AM start and run until mid afternoon (4PM latest). Please use the nearby main car park just on the left as you come in. If you are staying all day, bring a packed lunch. We have coffee and tea making facilities but please bring your own mug.

Visitors are always welcome (£3), but workshops generally need to be booked in advance and there is an extra charge for these). Annual membership is currently £20 a year.

The guild has a facebook page (public) called Clwyd Guild of Weavers Spinners and Dyers which we use to post information about guild events etc. Members can also join a lively (private) mailing list and Whatsapp Group.
